firm with over 15 years experience in Residential and Commercial Architecture throughout New Jersey. We are a family owned
and operated business and have the talent and dedication to provide the very best in every phase of our services.
Nancy S. Socci, AIA is principal of the firm and has been since
1996. After practicing architecture on her own for several years in Sparta New Jersey, she joined her father,
James V. Cordasco AIA-E to establish the firm, Cordasco & Socci, Architects in Denville, New Jersey. James Cordasco has
since retired to Florida and Nancy currently collaborates with Gregory J. Cordasco to continue the traditions of fine quality
architectural designs.
Nancy S. Socci is a 1989 graduate
of NJIT School of Architecture and holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree. In 1993 she attained her license and
Nancy approaches each project by understanding the client’s
needs and focusing on the shared ideas to reach a solution. Her work has included residential single family and multi-family
homes, commercial designs for banks, automotive dealerships, restaurants, shopping centers, medical offices, storefront facades
and tenant fit-outs. Our firm has a special interest in providing accessibility in residences and businesses for persons with
disabilities. Nancy is an advocate of the “Not so Big House” movement and her residential designs
are inspired by the growing desire to create homes that reflect the way we really live.
Gregory J. Cordasco is a 1996 graduate of NYIT School of Architecture
and holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree. Greg is a Senior Design Associate of the firm and is currently
working on New Jersey and New York Licensure. He manages residential and commercial projects through all phases including
construction documents and administration.
Gregory
has a background in construction management. He works on various projects with the latest technology of
Computer Aided Design – CAD, as well as on job sites to coordinate details with contractors. We strive to keep the lines
of communication open and this is one of the reasons we are a 95% referral based firm.
Our Services include architectural preliminary designs and construction documents for
Residential, Commercial and Interior Space planning projects.
Residential Projects range from front portico designs to complete custom homes. We are pleased to redesign
a façade to bring a home up-to-date or add the kitchen, great room or master bedroom suite you’ve been dreaming
of.
Commercial
Projects are diversified and we can help your business adapt to a new storefront tenant space or provide a new building for
your offices to grow.
Interior Space
Planning is a service we can provide to remove a bearing wall in a home or redesign the floor plan to accommodate a changing
family. Commercial businesses can benefit from our expertise in ADA compliance to add an accessible restroom
or simply add more work stations.
